DE 2223 - PAPERLESS ORDER denying [2221] Defendant Dean J. Vagnozzi's Motion to Modify Receivership Order as to ABFP Multi-Strategy Investment Fund LP and ABFP Multi-Strategy Investment Fund 2 LP and Request for In-Person Hearing. The Court sees no reason to modify the Receivership Order at this time, as the Receiver remains in the best position to continue managing the Life Settlement Funds. Accordingly, Mr. Vagnozzi's Motion, [ECF No. 2221], is DENIED. DE 2226 - PAPERLESS ORDER denying [2225] Motion for Leave to File Late Receivership Claims. On May 4, 2026, Michael Laude, proceeding pro se, moved for leave to file a late claim based on investments he made through AG Morgan Financial Advisors and Vincent Camarda. [ECF No. 2225] at 1. Mr. Laude has already filed several motions seeking leave to file a late claim, [ECF Nos. 2210-11, 2213-15], which the Court has stricken, [ECF Nos. 2216-17]. In its Order Striking Motions, the Court emphasized that "any claims must be directed to the Receiver--not the Court." [ECF No. 2216] at 2.On May 1, 2026, the Receiver filed a Quarterly Status Report. [ECF No. 2224]. The Status Report notes that"[c]ertain of the individual investors within the AGM Funds have inquired with the Receiver whether they are permitted to file late filed claims," but "[t]he Receiver intends to file a motion to address his proposed recommendation that any late-filed claims from individual investors within the AGM Funds should be rejected." Id. at 8. Accordingly, Mr. Laude's Motion, [ECF No. 2225], is DENIED. Any further attempts to submit claims in this fashion--by Mr. Laude or any other investor--will result in the striking of such claims from the public docket. Signed by Judge Rodolfo A.
